Partnership aims to create an end-to-end shopping experience from purchase to delivery to installation and servicing.
Selangor, Malaysia – Recommend.my, the leading platform for connecting customers with trusted professionals for home services, and Courts, one of the largest electrical, IT and furniture retailers in Southeast Asia, has partnered to provide customers with a range of convenient home services.
The partnership brings together Recommend.my’s network of skilled home service professionals with Courts’ wide range of furniture and appliance products to create an optimised shopping experience. Customers can schedule and pay for their installation services during the purchase of Courts products, providing a convenient, hassle-free experience.
For example, when paying for a new air-conditioner at Courts, customers can also book and pay for aircon installation charges. Recommend.my will then dispatch one of their 10,000 verified service professionals who will provide the installation service at the scheduled appointment.

The initial range of home services that can be booked at Courts Malaysia include aircon, water heater, and ceiling fan installation. Post-installation, Recommend.my also provides regular home services including house cleaning, mattress cleaning, aircon servicing, and repairs for appliances including TVs, fridges and washing machines.
Prices for services will vary depending on the type of job and complexity, and can optionally be bundled into Courts’ instalment plans. More services will be made available in the coming weeks, including TV mounting and kitchen hood / hob installation.
This partnership is part of Recommend.my’s vision of becoming the “engine” for on-demand home services for retailers. The company already partners with IKEA in Malaysia to provide light and electrical installation services.
The partnership between Recommend.my and Courts Malaysia is now available in all Courts in-store locations across West Malaysia, including the Nojima flagship store in Bukit Bintang. Nojima Corp acquired Courts Asia in 2019.
