Casa String Quartet was formed in 2013 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It all started when we were all still in college, pursuing our diplomas and degrees in music. We used to attend the same classes such as the Orchestra class and Strings Ensemble class and often met up to play together during our free time.

We were also performing as freelancers and were regularly playing for artist recordings, appearing on national TV programmes, and providing our services to private functions. We were even performing in the same youth orchestra, The Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra ( MPYO ). Long story short, that is how this group came about.
