I ordered 3 layered wedding cake with cupcakes.. I have to say the cake looks amazing and so pretty. I wish i could keep it as it is haha.. I didn't have much idea how the cake was supposed to be because of my last minute request. But kak farah was giving me idea and i just leave it up to her to get it done. I didn't get chance to have the cupcakes bec it finished very quickly but I've got good feedback from my family and my guests. Everyone liked it. Thank you kak sal kueh :)

I was freaking happy with the cake and its so delicious. Too bad some ppl just don't know what's cake all about and plus the birthday girl was so so so happyyy with the cake. I actually asked her to tell me how it taste she gave me that smile and said its amazing now I can't wait for my second cake this Saturday. And I really feel farah and her sister are amazing ppl and so soft spoken which actually make me want to order again.

The cake was heavenly. Deco wise, they were accomodative but not up to expectation. Could do a better on decoration.

Ordered a pavlova but was not quite what i expected. It was lovely all the same. Farah asked for feedback and i told her what my expectations were.
She immediately offered a replacement and whipped up a melt-in-your-mouth xxl replacement complete with a generous helping of fresh berries.
She even went to the trouble of looking for my favourite cream brand to pair it with!

Definitely a baker who takes her customers seriously and cares about quality and customer satisfaction!

BEWARE: QUALITY AND RELIABLE BAKER!
I was totally AMAZED with the cake that I ordered from Kak Sal Kueh. Farah was very friendly, warm and helpful throughout the process of my wedding cake. She guide me with the design as I have too many ideas for the cake. Farah and team suggested Victorian Cake and it was totally delicious!

Thank you Farah and team for making my wedding day a perfect one with your outstanding cake design. I feel totally connected with their way of handling their business wearing their heart on their sleeve throughout the whole entire process. Many thanks and I totally appreciate the effort that they gave into fulfilling my request.

Hi my name is Raja Nazrah Dato' Raja Nasron.I had the privilege to order a birthday cake from Farah for my son's 4th birthday recently. Since my son loves chocolate, strawberry and tractors (hahaha) that was what I told Farah to do. The cake turn out brilliant. The taste is AMAZING! All the guests and kids had more than 2 serving. I highly recommend Farah to anyone who has good taste and enjoy what a cake should be like which is DELICIOUS and looks AMAZING!Only people with good taste will know and appreciate good food and effort.Thank you Farah for the cake and i will order again frm u in the future.

BEWARE: LOUSIEST BAKER AROUND! I ordered 2 custom designed cake from Kak Sal Kuih with over 2 weeks’ notice (Total RM540 including delivery, paid 50% deposit: RM270). The first cake was a 2 kg Elmo designed cake and the second was a 2kg Cookie Monster cake. I sent several reminder for the cake before the actual delivery date.

It was such a big disappointment! I as an aunty ordered both cake for my nephews, who was celebrating their first and fourth birthday. It was supposed to be my gift for them. Their parents booked a fancy restaurant for the celebration with Elmo and cookie monster decoration.

Kak Sal Kuih is not fit to be a baker for the following reasons:

1) She missed the delivery time: The birthday function started at 7PM and the delivery times was 630PM. I received a call from the baker Farah saying that the boys’ name can’t fit into the cake at 7PM. And she actually delivered the cake around 10.30pm when the function was over, and when most of the guest actually left.

2) No courtesy to inform earlier & a big liar: She was pretending to me the entire time saying she got stuck in a terrible jam. As a person who travels from PJ every day, I roughly know how long it takes! She was pretending about the jam when the road was actually empty and most of my relatives who took the same highway made it on time. She was heading from PJ to Klang. When I spoke to her, she said she was at Bukit Raja Jusco at Klang. And after some time she said she was at Tesco Batu Tiga – Which don’t make sense at all.

3) Horribly made cake: The cake looks as awful as possible and tasted equally terrible. I demanded to her that if she don’t make it by 9pm, I will not pay her and she agreed to it. She delivered the Elmo cake, which was falling apart. And the cookie monster cake was destroyed completely (didn’t deliver this cake).

4) Lousy workmanship: She only delivered one cake out of the two, and spelled the birthday boy’s name incorrectly. It was one of the ugliest custom design cake I’ve ever seen.

5) Unreliable: When I called her to ask about her whereabouts, she just ignored my call soo many times, but was available in whatsapp at the same time. And then she replied to my whatsapp saying she is stuck in the jam and can’t answer my call. But she was not driving at all in the first place. I was at the birthday function, unable to answer to other people when they ask about the whereabouts of the baker.

I was actually embarrassed by it! And thank god, before she arrived, I managed to get a simple cake from a nearby bakery to celebrate my nephews’ birthday around 10pm. I knew if I waited longer, we have to celebrate the birthday without a cake! I basically ruined the boys’ birthday celebration because of this unreliable baker.

Arriving 4 hours late after the actual delivery time, she don’t even have the courtesy to inform me that I need to find an alternate and keep on saying she is stuck in jam and will be arriving. Think twice before ordering cakes with her, cause she might ruin your entire function.

I ordered a vanila cake for my mother's birthday. The cake look nice and my mother felt happy when she received the cake. I'm satisfied the service that provided by Farah, she is nice and friendly.The price is also reasonable for me. Thanks Farah make a beautiful cake for my mother and I will definitely use your service again in the future.
