2 layers of 8" sponge cake. This is a classic collection. We applied smooth and creamy buttercream and fresh strawberries as the sandwich filling in this cake. We are not using whipping cream in the recipe as we do not want to fridge this classic butter sponge cake. A splash of strawberries puree in the sandwich filling. Not too much of the puree, as we would like to maintain the classic taste of this cake. Ended up with some dusting on top of the cake for decorative purposes. We used pure butter: Product of Denmark.
